Is The Redknapp Heart Surgery Story a Cover Up For The Court Case?

Unverified of course, but this was posted by 'Steve' on the last blog not half an hour ago:

''here's another more worrying debate. apparently harry is due in court this week (mandaric has already been in over last 2 weeks), over tax evasion.
there's an injunction out while they're appealing it. but the word is that there's a real chance of a prosecution.
really hope this isnt true. but it's widely known this court case was imminent. apparently HMRC want to make an example and go for the full punishment.

he's 'coincidently' got a medical problem this week.

this would be bigger than lasagne-gate. we're playing so well at the moment, i'd hate for it to be jeopardised due to what went on at portsmouth! ''

My sentiments exactly, let's hope this is nothing more sinister than a minor op.

  3. What a load of shit this article is. I am sure there would be more of a mention on the court case in MORE RELIABLE sources than this poxy website. The true Spurs fans will wish Harry a speedy recovery and hope it is nothing serious as the team is really in form. In case you have never picked upon the fact a lot of our players love Harry so we do not need them worrying and playing crap against Fulham at the weekend.

  4. Anon 12:22 :-)

Anon 12:33- Not quite sure where I claimed this was irrefutable fact, but please feel free to point out where I have and I'll gladly amend it. While it would be nice to imagine the lads at the Lodge hanging round and refreshing newsnow, eagerly awaiting the latest fan blog, I doubt that this or any other similar outlet will have any influence over their worries or indeed matchday performance, so you can sleep easy there. I'm sure they've been fully briefed on the full facts, unlike ourselves who are left to question the validity of these mysterious minor op's. Steve's comments in regards to injuctions relating to the HMRC court case, fact or not, are certainly within the realms of possibility, so why not open it up to a bit of discussion? Like I said, I truly hope that's all it is, and being a 'true Spurs fan', as the previous 100 posts will testify to, I wish Harold all the very best

*waves at Harry who's always on here*

  5. Courts are open to the public - court cases are not done in secret and if the court case was this week the press would know about it.

All the best to Harry for a speedy recovery.
